Water is most the important source in our day to day life, it covers about 71% of the earth surface.97%of the earth water is found in the ocean (too salty for drinking, growing crops, and most industrial uses except cooling).3% of the earth’s water is fresh. So its water important to save water and reuse it again.

The grey  water that is release from wash basin, bath water & washing machine run off water can be filtered using these canna lilies plant.Canna lilies remove toxic heavy metals, nitrogen ,phosphorous & radioactive nucloids among pollutants.

 It can be used in house for waste water treatment as  it is very easy to grow, likes plenty of heat, so place them in full sun.They can also tolerate partial shade.The use of canna lilies as a plant filter is not only a beautiful solution, but a cost effective one.The large broad leaves releases both oxygen & water into the air,creating a healthier environment.
